Atlanta Pride is July 4, 5, & 6th at the Atlanta Civic Center this year. The MEGA Family Project will host a booth Friday, Saturday, and Sunday inside the Civic Center (P37). Saturday we will host the MEGA Family Area inside the Civic Center from 11-3 where we will have performances for the kids, games, arts & crafts, snacks, a Pride Family Photo area, and a face painter(this will be located in the Piedmont Room)!
The Parade: Sunday, we want you to march with us in support of LGBT Families (we will be meeting at 12:45 at B 23 which is near 10th and Charles Allen Avenue next to Piedmont Park).
E-mail kathy@megafamilyproject.org if you are willing to volunteer to work in the Family Area, at the MEGA Booth, or walk with us in the parade. This year, it is more important than ever for us to show up and support Pride.

Like to write? Have something to say? MEGA is currently recruiting writers for our Gay American Family Blog. We are very interested in different points of view--it can be about politics, parenting, the process of becoming a parent, to general issues within the community. Find your voice on our up-and-coming blog. Contact Kathy@megafamilyproject.org to find out more.
Looking for resources for your kids? MEGA offers social activities through our MEGA Kids' Program in Metro Atlanta. We offer weekly play groups for all our kids during the week, and at least one monthly social outing geared toward kids and our families. Send an e-mail to Kathy Kelly: kathy@megafamilyproject.org if you would like to be added to the list or have any questions.
